As part of your submission, you will need to answer the following questions.

  2. Short Description: Provide a high-level description of this design (300 words or less).
  3. Passion: Explain what passion or interest your design aims to enhance, and how it will do so.
  4. Users’ culture and lifestyle: Explain the audience from their habits and practices to their demographics and psychographics. What tasks are they trying to complete and how can technology help them? Describe their unmet needs, the group’s size, and what they would be excited to buy.
  5. Market Viability: Who does this design appeal to and what are the viable markets?
  6. Size: What are the dimensions of the components?
  7. Overview of Design: Explain in non-technical terms why this PC Design is innovative.
  8. User and Context: Describe the users of this product and the context of usage.
  9. Scenarios of Use: Describe how this design delivers on new scenarios that benefit the targeted user(s).
  10. User Interface: How does this design contribute to making the PC easier to use?
  11. Aesthetics: How does the appearance, interaction, or system behavior enhance the product’s emotional appeal to users and enhance their passion?
  12. Technical Aspects: Describe any new enabling technologies that are key to this design’s success. How do these enhance the overall PC experience?
  13. Ecology: How is the design environmentally innovative? Consider consequences and effects on behavior over the whole life cycle of materials and processes, source and waste reduction, energy efficiency, and repair/reuse/recyclability.
  14. Manufacturability: Explain how your design considers manufacturability, including thermal cooling and noise reduction.
